Operation Fudgy Brownie Fudge

Spring Break was relaxing for me, but it was not without its culinary adventures. One of my best friends Gabe and I spent quite a bit of time together. Gabe and I have been on many food adventures before, and this particular break was no exception.

At one point we decided to make brownies. Upon acquiring a box of Ultimate Fudge brownies, we were wondering what truly ultimate fudge brownies would be like. In the end we decided that we wanted to try and put brownies inside actual fudge. With a dream and a loose plan in mind, we put Operation Fudgy Brownie Fudge into motion.
-----------
The first things you need to gather when trying to put brownies inside fudge are some brownies and some fudge.
A portion of the fudge was placed in a large casserole dish and the brownies were placed on top.

The remaining fudge was poured on top to encase the brownies, the dish was a perfect size! It was placed in the fridge overnight.

It actually worked! What resulted was a fairly presentable looking dessert, brownies perfectly encased in fudge!
Reviews were good overall. The dessert was very chocolaty, for some almost too much so. The only downside to this entire operation was that this giant dish of brownie fudge had to be consumed for the rest of the week. I was a little sick of it by the end of it but I wouldn't hesitate to make it again. I'm sure it would make a great party food.

  1. How can you possibly get sick of fudge!? Glad it turned out well - it WAS really yummy! I'll be glad to help consume leftovers next time you make it. :-)

  2. Yet another use for mass quantities of fudge! If people complained that this was too chocolaty, imagine if it hadn't been made with Velveeta fudge.
